RESPONSIBLE GROWTH
Oxford needs a plan for responsible growth that is also fiscally sound.
For the past five years, there has been push by this administration to create a municipal town center — this is a multi-million-dollar project with sidewalks, giving away acres of the town's raw materials to flatten land for a future park area, and Center School renovations. There has been no presented public plan or estimated costs. These projects are moving forward with neither funding approval from the Board of Finance nor public input, creating new unplanned/un-budgeted tax liabilities while existing infrastructure remains neglected and services threatened.

Industrial lots have been sold under terms that delay the full sale price and tax revenue for years. Oxford needs leadership committed to attracting the right businesses to offset costs and protect taxpayers.
